Veronica joined Short Richardson & Forth LLP in February 2006 having previously trained and worked in a London law firm. She is an Associate Solicitor specialising in employment law.
Veronica represents clients in a range of Employment Tribunal claims including unfair dismissal, all forms of discrimination, wages, breach of contract, TUPE, whistle blowing and the Working Time Regulations. Veronica is also experienced in representing parties in Civil Court Proceedings relating to breaches of restrictive covenants.
Veronica advises on all employment issues including performance, misconduct, capability, redundancy, transfers of undertakings, maternity and parental rights, flexible working, discrimination, executive service agreements and compromise agreements. Veronica also drafts contracts of employment, executive service agreements and company policies and procedures.
Additionally Veronica has served as a Trustee for two local charities, Seven Stories Centre for Children’s Books and Age Concern North Tyneside.
