David has been with the firm since it started and was a founding partner. As the head of the Commercial Property Department, David's areas of expertise are sales and purchases, investment portfolios, Business Parks, Residential Estates, Retail, Office, Loft apartments, Landlord and Tenant issues and agreements, Options and overage.
Tim joined Short Richardson & Forth LLP in April 2005 following the retirement of David Forth. As the head of Commercial Litigation, Tim's expertise covers contractual disputes, corporate insolvency, individual insolvency and bankruptcy, debt collection, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes including unfair prejudice, directors disqualifications, warranty claims, professional negligence, asset tracing, breach of trust and urgent injunctions.
Mark is an experienced litigator. His practice is split between employment and commercial litigation.
Mark supports the firm’s highly rated employment team offering expertise in the areas of breach of confidentiality and breach of covenant often in the context of injunctive proceedings. In addition Mark is an experienced advocate in the Employment Tribunals.
Mark’s commercial practice is focused on property disputes, contractual disputes and intellectual property disputes. Mark has experience in all aspects of property litigation including landlord and tenant, possession claims, boundary disputes and dilapidations as well as less common disputes such as rights to light and Lands Tribunal rates appeals.
Mark is a keen if slow runner currently training for the Edinburgh marathon. He also enjoys cooking and travelling.
