Debt Recovery
For more than 30 years we have acted for businesses both in the North East and nationally dealing with often complex commercial litigation. However over the last 12 months we have seen a surge in demand from both existing and new clients for a debt recovery service to support businesses in chasing commercial debts and then issuing court proceedings to recover outstanding monies due to them. In response to this we have now opened a dedicated Debt Recovery Department.
We are proud of the level of service we are able to offer, in particular the following features:
- A simple fee structure which means that where there is a successful recovery all of our fees for chasing debts, issuing court proceedings, obtaining judgment and taking enforcement steps are recovered from the debtor. We do this by basing our fees upon the statutory compensation than can be claimed for commecial debts and the fixed costs allowed by the court. In the event that debts are contested our hourly charging rates will be applied if you decide to proceed.
- A dedicated team of legally trained advisers who are able to give practical advice and will take pro-active steps to recover your debts.
- A promise to start chasing debts within 24 hours of receiving new instructions.
To celebrate the opening of our new department we are pleased to offer to all clients that if any debt recovery instructions received between now and the end of September 2010 do not result in a successful recovery of the debt we will limit our fees to just £1 plus Vat, excluding court fees and enforcement agents’ fees.
